ITINERARY:
Day 1 - Arrive Cape Town International after your overnight international flight. You will be personally met by an African Experience representative.Transfer in airconditioned vehicles to your accommodation in Cape Town, conveniently situated near the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront.
Check in for 4 nights B&B and relax in your magnificent surroundings. You will be given a day pass for the convenient red Hop-On Hop-Off Bus, which stops at all Cape Town’s key sights and beaches. Start by ascending Table Mountain by cable car to enjoy one of the world’s most famous views. Continue to Camps Bay beach and then explore the shops and many other attractions of the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, which is also the center of Cape Town’s nightlife.This evening join all the players for a traditional South African welcome dinner at the V&A Waterfront.
Day 2 - Round 1: Clovelly Golf Club. Transfer from the hotel at 10h00. You’ will have the opportunity to hit a few warm up balls at the range before you tee-time. Prize giving & a few local beverages at the 19th.
Day 3 - Full Day Tour Cape Point: You will be collected at around 09h00 this morning for a full day hosted excursion to the beautiful Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Travel via spectacular Chapman’s Peak Drive to Cape Point. Catch the funicular to the top and see the famous Cape Point light house as well as the spectacular views over False Bay, Diaz Beach and much more. In the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve we hope to see ostrich, baboon and perhaps even whales and dolphins, before returning via naval Simonstown in the late afternoon.
Day 4 - Round 2: Steenberg Golf Club. Transfer from the hotel at 10h00. You’ will have the opportunity to hit a few warm up balls at the range before you tee-time. Prize giving & a few local beverages at the 19th.
Day 5 - Today enjoy a hosted full day to the beautiful Stellenbosch Winelands where a handful of French Huguenot refugees started South Africa’s now famous wine industry. Visit the historic town of Stellenbosch and several different Wine Estates of your choice, sampling as you go. Lunch which is include will comprise a picnic style lunch in a tranquil winelands setting. Check into your Winelands accommodation for 2 nights.
Day 6 - Round 3: Pearl Valley Golf Club. Transfer from the hotel at 10h00. Prize giving & a few local beverages at the 19th.
Day 7 - Depart Cape Town at 09h00 for a 4 hour transfer to Pinnacle Point Beach & Golf Resort. On arrival check into your accommodation for 1 night, situated on the resort, which includes a private beach, casino, driving range and the superb golf course. The afternoon is free to explore this magnificent resorts facilities and spend the evening at leisure.
Day 8 - Round 4: Pinnacle Point. Transfer in your shared golf cart for the 09h00 tee-time. You’ will have the opportunity to hit a few warm up balls at the range before you tee-off. Prize giving & a few local beverages at the 19th following which we transfer to Knysna. On arrival check into your accommodation for 3 nights which is situated on the Knysna Waterfront. The afternoon is free to explore this scenic town with an array of sight-seeing & activities available from the Waterfront to include shops, boat cruises & various arts & craft shops and spend the evening at leisure.
Day 9 - Round 5: Simola Golf Club. Transfer from the hotel at 10h00. You’ will have the opportunity to hit a few warm up balls at the range before your tee-off. Prize giving & a few local beverages at the 19th.
Day 10 - Round 6: Pezula Golf Club. Transfer from the hotel at 10h00. You’ will have the opportunity to hit a few warm up balls at the range before your tee-off. End the day with a banquet dinner & final prize giving held on an original Paddle steamer sailing to the Knysna Heads while watching the sun set over the Outenique Mountains.
Day 11 - Depart Knysna for the 1 hour transfer to George International Airport your international flight home. Alternatively, clients are transfered to the Eastern Cape for your safari supplement.
2 Nights Dinner, B&B accommodation at a private game lodge.
2 Activities per day - game drives, boat cruise, guided walks.
Transfer from Knysna to a private game reserve in the Eastern Cape +- 4 hours.
Transfer from the game reserve to Port Elizabeth International Airport.
Safari Iterary:
Day 11 - Today we transfer you from Knysna to your malaria-free Private Game Reserve in the Eastern Cape, a scenic 4 hour drive northwards along the Garden Route towards Port Elizabeth. After checking into your game lodge in the afternoon enjoy your first game drive in an open-top game viewing vehicle in this Big Five game reserve whose stock includes elephants, lions, antelope and a wide variety of other game. End the day with dinner in your warm African surroundings.
Day 12 - Up early this morning when viewing conditions are at their best with another open-top game drive in your Private Game Reserve. We hope to see more of the Big Five today; lion, buffalo, rhino, elephant and leopard as well as giraffe, wildebeest, antelope and many other interesting species, before returning to the lodge for breakfast. Spend the rest of the day at leisure and enjoy the swimming pool and other facilities of your lodge. In the afternoon enjoy another open-top game drive, before dining at the lodge in the atmosphere that only the African bushveld can provide!
Day 13 - Time permitting, enjoy another early morning open-top game drive before breakfast. Return transfer to Port Elizabeth Airport +- 45 minutes.
